Thinking of getting a new 3d monitor for gaming (PC & PS3)
I think of Samsung S27A750D ? Any recommendations? Active or passive 3d ?
I already have 32LH70 LG but my bro will live with me so I'll need another one as he plays on his PS3 too.I hear that Samsung has better image quality. What do you think guys ?

Was thinking of getting a touch screen fan controller (still am) and stumbled across a case...

I want it's babies

Sadly though, it's a full tower which I think might be a tad too big for me

Does it have to be a touchscreen fan controller. You could get the corsair 600T it's got a built in fan controller but it's not a touch screen but it does have lots a room for a mid tower case.

Not interested in changing my case tbh (although the one above nearly had me going  ). My case has fan control but the switches for the top and back fans are a nightmare to try and change.

If you have one of these 20pin headers on your Motherboard you can get a touchscreen controller

The one I'm looking at doesn't seem to have one of them which is a tad weird :?
Haven't decided yet, either way. Might just leave it

Thekopspy wrote:Right can anybody please tell me what spec pc I need to buy to get pes 2013 to run everything on top settings?

And can you also tell me the best place to buy as my head hurts shopping around.

Thanks in advance

What is your budget ?

My laptop is
- intel laptop dual core i5 3210m
- nvidia gt 650m (almost as fast as gt 450 desktop version)
- 4GB RAM

I can play highest setting flawlessly in 768/720p and 1080p. However, using and setting the lod graphic patch a bit hight, there is very light stutter in close-up replay on 1080p. Normal match still fluid as hell.

You can build your own pc though based on your budget. If i could suggest, you could see
- intel desktop quadcore i5 3570K
- Nvidia desktop gtx 660 (launched around this week i guess)
- 4GB

The reason for above spec is that
1. Better future-proof on the processor, this i5 3570K is so fast
2. GTX 660 seems to be best price/performance gpu. It imust be much ahead of my laptop gt 650m  .
3. 4GB is enough for most occasion.

Note that PES 2013 will be piece of cake with above spec. I am sure it could easily handle pes 2014's fox engine as well. and you can enjoy other pc games in very nice graphic setting too @1080p :)
25 July demo so far :
1. CPU ai attacking/defensive play and balance --> almost there, need more passing around
2. Cpu crazy-dribbling and crazy one-twos then direct shot exist --> nope
3. Overall graphic colour and night match lighting --> fine, except horrible night match

Or you can also wait for Asus zenbook u500vz (rretail on around windows 8 release dates). it comes with i7, gt 650m, and 1080p . But I am sure you would have known that for other more demanding PC game gt 650m will struggle in 1080p or at least you can go for low graphic setting.

So, I was playing PES last night and my computer started beeping like R2D2 on cocaine. Thought it was PES at first but happened after i closed it. My guess from reading around is that my CPU got too hot or reached the limit that sets off a warning (it was at roughly 60 degrees when i checked)

Thinking i'll have to take off the heatsink today to remove some dust on the inside and apply some thermal paste

Also, is the a way to remove just the fan blades on a case fan rather than remove the whole thing?

EDIT: CPU is at 55 degrees while only running Chrome. Something definitely amiss here :?
