Think I'm going to get myself a PCI Wifi card for my PC.

The USB dongle just isn't good enough. For instance, I downloaded the new Cryengine build on my laptop, about 1GB in size and took about 30 mins, maybe slightly more (Roughly a download speed of 500kb/s)

Now at the moment, with the dongle, my PC would never achieve that in a million years. Even using the download speed booster on firefox (which I used above), I'd still only get some 100kb/s. And if I'm right on the maths, would take about an hour and 40 mins.

That's some difference. I'm not saying the PCI one will magically make everything alright but for about €13, it's worth a shot

was the laptop at the same distance from ur router?

Yep. Same room

whats ur router range (G,N,N+)
may be ur usb is slower than laptop wireless
so check the speed of PCI wireless when you get it

I'm changing router in the coming weeks, haven't searched for what model it'll be yet

can I use 3 RAMs not all the 4 slots ?
I can afford buying two 4 GB now or just buy one 4 GB

You should have no problem with 3 sticks but check compatibly first. As for the rest i don't understand what you're saying you want 4gb or get two 4gb sticks

nevermind ,I bought two 4 GB G skill sniper with 1600 Mhz (my old one was 1333)

Asus P8P67LE board
intel i5 processor 2300 @2.8Ghz (overclocked to 3.6 Ghz)
DDR3 RAM 8 GB gskill sniper 1600
Radeon HD 6950 2GB (flashed to 6970)
using it on my TV LG32 scarlet
