It Looks Pretty Cool.....Not That Expensive Aswell
Well, I think it is, I doubt that you'd buy the 16gb version, most likely you'd go for at least the 32 gb. Thats still not enough I think for the amount of content that you'd want on it. If it plays HD footage, and hi-def video would take between 2-4gb, meaning you'd only get around 15 films on the 32gb. And if you want 3G youre looking at around £580 which is quite a bit. You would be able to buy a pretty good netbook for that price.

Yeah, when you actually think about it, its not that revolutionary, its just a bigger iPod Touch, like sean said, when you strip down what you would need it would cost more than a good laptop.
Also, can you imagine keeping the screen clean over years, and keeping it damage free.
Its good, its just not that good.

Exactly, I dont see it becoming an alternative to a laptop or pc, it doesnt have those capabilites yet, it is just a larger Touch with not many new features. The harddrive simply isnt large enough for what it is offering. However you can see it being bought just for around the house for example a digital photo frame, a music system interface or another internet viewing source. It will undoubtably be a success, but I dont see anything special. People you want music will go for a standard ipod, people you want video will go for the touch, people you want internet will go for the iphone (or all of the above).

Hi Mark,
The resolution thingy.
At the back of each ps3 game box there is listed what resolution it runs.
For example: PES - 720p, GTA - 720p/1080i/1080p. And i want it to run on 1080p if available.
No matter which game i pop in my ps3 it automatically switch to 720p. While in the menu it is 1080p.
My tv is 1080p native.
So how i get the Full HD resolution i want?

That does sound very odd.
Hmmmmm. Well, im stumped....already.
You could try go into Display settings, Video Output, pick HDMI, then pick manul/custom and make sure all outputs are selected.
If the XMB is in full hd but the games arent, then it could be a problem with the cable.
Im sorry i cant help more.
You could check out the Official PlayStation forums, i always go there and there will be no doubt loads of people with similar problems to yours.
Hope you get it sorted, let me know how it goes.

Kinda sorted now, kinda.
It's still everything like it was before, but after a bit of investigation i think it's exactly what it meant to be. Most games are made for 720p, so the fact that it also runs on 1080p don't mean it's best resolution to pick. Some 720/1080p games runnig on 720p while playing it, and when you are shown an in-game video scene it's on 1080p. That's why 720/1080p written at the back of the box.
So everthings fine.

I see, i guess it makes sense.
Thats the end of that mystery.
