PES 2012 kits - Championship + Euro Teams

I remember way back to (may of been pes4) i purchased an OF off ebay .... man did i feel bad when i realised i could get it for free , and give credit to the guys that actually make them
Last years OF was a thing of beauty , the kits looked better than Fifas , and i lloved the Prem badge swooshing in and out after replays on ML

I am very much looking forward to a champ option file ...... a massive thanks in advance, you guys simply add the icing on top , it wouldnt be as good as an experiance without your input

Just to let anyone whos using anything i made, the black in any kit will not be correct when imported into the PES editor.

There, are 2 ways around this :

1) Anything with black stripes etc...Open them up in Photoshop and Hold Ctrl + U
This will bring up the Hue/Saturation box. On the option "Lightness", make it +16 and this will make the black correct in the game (Photoshop should register it as: R 40-G 40-B 40). Might be best to, beforehand, go to Select/Colour Range (drop down menu) and pipette the black, so that the hue/saturation doesn't affect the other colours.

2) A Lot simpler.... As you import the PNG into the PES Editor, dont press X to confirm yet. Whilst the PNG is sat there on top of the shirt, In the bottom L/H corner of the screen you'll see an option to press [](square) and that brings up a colour correction RGB+Contrast screen, where a couple of very quick adjustments to the PNG can make the PNG colours match the kit template colours nicely

I never realised this when i made up the kits sadly !

Plus, it appears to me that no matter what size or resolution you save the PNGs at (600dpi, 300dpi, 150dpi, 72.009dpi) they always come out the same in the PES Editing suite sadly. The dimensions of 142pixels wide X 253pixels high, at any of those resolutions seem to work, but best save them at 72.009 dpi (and 142Wx253H) because the canvas size stays at it's largest and should look as good as the game will allow.

So odd that the licensed kits are sharp as a knife, yet imported PNGs automatically default to a very low resolution. There is probably a good reason for this, but i have no idea

is there any chance you'll make them? i've got all the europe league teams you've done, but i've got 2 slots in the chnpions league waiting for those two...

would really love if you could do them

don't know if you notice but they're the only 2 teams from UCL that you haven't done yet, every single one of the other, you've done already...

Can't find APOEL FC's away kit anywhere on the net, other than a Wikipedia graphic stating it's red. Can you post up pics of it ? Also one home kit has stripes and an MTN logo and the other, mostly plain yellow kit with CYPRUS AIRWAYS logo. I have all the logos and thigns to make up the home and GK kits ( Found black kit and white kit for GK ), but have no idea what the away kit looks like at the moment, sorry !

Just a quick shout about the RGB situation. I've been playing about on PC version wiith some Bundesliga pngs from PESGAMING and the general rule of the thumb appears to be whatever the RGB was in PES2011 it's about 2 lower in PES2012.
For example, if Liverpool's kit was RGB 23/11/17 in PES2011, general rule looks like in PES2012 it'll be 21/9/15.

This doesn't apply to all, as there are those that need a bit more tweaking, but generally it's just two lower on the scale.

Thank you kind sir. I have to wait until the 14th until i can start editing sadly, but i will use photoshop to re-adjust the PNGs, like you say. I imagine there's a lot of editing re-adjustments this year perhaps. have you tried the stadium editing yet ? Many changes in there ? Really interested to know if there are any changes regarding PNG importing into the stadia, backgrounds, adboards etc...

To be honest, I'm managing with the PNGs the way they are, just changing the base colours of the actual kits on the game, seems to work so far.

Stadium editor appears to be much the same importing-wise. There is a greater selection of stands, and you can make bowl-like stadiums, but the only draw-back of that is that they have to have a running track round them which is a bit pants!

I'm rather intrigued by the DLC, apparently the kit templates will be updated, so that might add some additional styles, for example, the Nike GK kit with the funky designs down the inner arms etc.

i just copy things from several places to do my own option file... it's just for my use only

i've got the game since last thursday, and i still haven done half the editing so it's uo to standard...

Yea, i perhaps have bitten off more than i could chew with that statement, but i will endeavour to make it happen. Tho, i saw you last post in another editing thread and it suggests to me that you're all going to have full on 100% ready to go option files available BEFORE day 1 now There are some very dedicated, savvy and skilled PES editors out there

On another note, I am busy making up all the kits for the English Leagues 1 & 2 at the moment. Will post them all up here once i am done. I know you can't have them in the game as there are not enough slots of course, but i thought i should make them because everyone has a local team in the lower leagues and some people may want to include them in the game this year

Ah, yes, lots of new kits coming thru i guess now. I will try and get the new Anderlecht kits out to you tonight, tho you may find other forums where people have already made the new ones Try PESGaming forums, until i can get them up on here tonight

Again, i know there isn't enough slots in the game to really bother with these teams, but many will be people's local teams and it's nice to give the option of having the kits there if anyone wants to include their team in the game

Here are the new RSC Anderlecht shirts for you. Sadly i can't find a good pic of any of the shirts online. The one's you sent in the link are a bit distorted because of the player's stance. But that's not your fault of course, it looks like they're the only new photos around at the moment
